- end of the painful 3 months -
:)

3 weeks to recuperate from the damage from exams. Short but better than nothing!

Now that I don't have to leave for school early in the day anymore, I've been seeing this lil devil everyday. Like a Nanny101!

Someone I 又爱又狠 haha,
never fail to wake up me at 8am with his piercing cries and make me smile with the simplest thing he does.

and also the 2 other cutie beans at Daniel's place!

---------------

Other than babies, I've been seeing ALOT of Christmas trees

1) Vivo City

My top pick
Chio max!

Looking very shagged but still insist to pose with the pretty thing

Had dinner at Marche that night, my virgin dining experience there!

Very random picture but the lamp there looks too pretty to be ignored

Daniel's rosti with egg and sausage

And my wild mushroom crepe.

and that made us 2 very satisfied customers :)

2) Ion

Tall, bright and beautiful - realised I've a thing for tall x'mas trees heh

and very interesting cause you can enter the tree. Entering a tree sounds like a supernatural thing haha. A different perspective offered by the 'walk-in' tree :)

ok, the decor not very clean haha

not liking the flash that cuilify faces!

Decided that it was to be a shop-till-we-drop day since we hardly go into town cause of the ERP and we really stick to our words and covered 90% of the malls and 90% of our legs were like gone by the end of the day. Unfortunately the day had to end with Daniel receiving a call-up notification for a 3-week long ICT just before our 5-week practicum next year :(

3) Malaysia

Went back to Malaysia for the first time in so many months and am kinda looking forward to the decorations there and it wasn't disappointing at all though we only had time to visit a mall.

The handsome snowman

With the pretty babes hahaha

With the standard-looking Christmas tree

and here comes the amazing part - Christmas trees made out of recycled materials

The tree that won the first prize, made out of the white styrofoamy stuff that comes with pears in supermarkets. Sorry English too cui

personal fav! Also made out of the styrofoamy thing

A huge Santa planted outside the mall

Caroling in the mall with a very disneyland backdrop

Was just a day trip but time was well spent cause I haven't been back in Malaysia for the longest time ever cause of the tight schedule during the term. Wasn't around for grandparents when they were unwell and am glad that they are doing fine now. Trip's made better with the availability of internet now heeeeee

4) Heeren

In front of the Ferrero Rocher Pyramid with the girls after dinner :)
Random photographer didn't manage to capture the entire pyramid unfortunately!

Met the girls at Heeren for dinner at Waraku for some catching up. Haven't been spending quality time together during the hectic term so it was a simple good dinner getting excited over old charming artistes and young cute idols and the post-dinner chat with Carmen and Serene heh.

Taking pictures in the toilet that's highly discouraged by Qianyu's mum haha
But big mirror's too tempting

The attendees
Omg at my very swollen eyes after my lenses dropped for n times. Literally n times that i couldn't open my eyes :(

Can't help but to notice that Qianyu looks extremely excited to be in the middle (her fav position)!

With the dashing James Steward + Carmen's thoughtful X'mas gift + my horrible swollen eyes

In the process of wearing the lenses that escaped from my eyes
Snapped by paparazzi ngo hahahaha

The super cute and gay sweets from Carmen :)

5) Bugis

Bugisfication with gypsy as our standard post-exam activity! We would usually end up with 10 bags worth of loots (and a menacing stare from Daniel) on our shopping trips but we were so tired that day that we didn't manage to get anything. Not difficult to tell that we were totally conquered by the z monster from our tired eyes below.

Not a Christmas tree but the gigantic Stitch is way too cute that we decided to join the kids and raise the average age of the people posing in front of that cutie. Taken in front of like 10 million people that explains our awkward/paiseh/just-wna-pose-and-get-over pose haha.

Gypsy's overseas now and will only be back on the 26th! :( And most of my other girls are now busy with their lives as well, can't wait for the 'reunion' on the 1st!

---------------------

Random but noteworthy stuff that happened during the term:

1)

Twisties encouragement from Serene the James Steward to continue twisting for calulus!

It was damn ironic to receive this cause Serene totally hated the sight and smell of this bolognese cheese flavour hahaha but it was heartwarming to surprise each other with simple but thoughtful gifts of encouragement every now and then during the very stressful period :)

2)

My first try at the Gong cha that created quite a hooha recently

and my pao pao cha becames bao bao (爆爆) cha when I dropped the drink before I could even take a sip and the cup burst!

The poor cup and me who has been dying to try it (Got it just before the shop closed so couldn't get a replacement)

The very extremely sore us

Drank from the cup/plastic bag anyways to not waste it but it tasted disappointingly ordinary :/ while Daniel's Azuki bean Mocha thingy tasted just plain weird.

Gave Gong Cha another try on some random study session in school with Serene, tried the milk tea with Japanese jelly and it was really ordinary as well and same goes to Serene's black tea and Daniel's gong cha. So sad, was expecting more from Gong Cha given all the talk about it.

3) Project @ SMU

(I think we didn't plan to do this!)

Random phototaking session (2 photos only, doesn't qualify as camwhoring haha) while waiting for Candee and Qianyu to work on the sickening and tough geography project, glad it's all over!

Another pao pao cha brand - milk tea with aiyu that Candee and Qianyu helped to buy. The aiyu was tasteless but the milk tea's not bad! pao pao cha is like the new fat factor now haha, so many different brands to try!

----------------

Another month stronger :)

The month was slightly more significant for us but unfortunately it falls in the middle of the busiest period of the semester so we decided to spend the day studying before taking a few hours out at night for a simple celebration.

This man here has been complaining about aches here and there so decided to give a different present this time to help us relax that is none other than foot reflexology that totally freaked him out hahaha.

Looking very uneasy there while waiting for an available seat

Still able to smile before the man worked on his feet

Revealing signs of buaytahaness

And there you go, raising the white flag and breaking out into laughter

I was vibrating/fidgeting/shaking damn vigorously when he cleaned my feet cause it was damn itchy and ticklish haha

Trying to distract myself from the itch

You can imagine the expression on our faces

and us after we 'regained composure'

Very interesting experience, especially it was Daniel's first time and my 2nd go at it so both of us were like quite irritating and sua gu there, and now Daniel's hooked on it hahahaha. And I love it that it really helped to relieve a little of our stress from work and the resulting physical discomfort. Planned to go for the 45-minute massage but couldn't afford the time cause we extended our studying period so got to rush off for our dinner.

And then to dinner at the Tao's Restaurant -

7-course meal at a reasonable price and the food's great! Now I know why I'm gaining weight at an exponential rate hahaha.

Great day spent despite the heavy workload then.
Here's to more fat-gaining celebrations, happy 9th! :)

--------------------

The year's ending really really really soon. Lots of things have changed since the beginning of this year. Everything started well and as time passed, certain things became better than ever while some simply took a bad turn, which is really unfortunate and a pity. Not going to dwell on it and i just hope for the best for everything and for everyone now that the year is ending and may 2011 be amazing :)

Looking forward to the family picnic, x'mas party, girls' outing on new year and the vietnam trip next Jan!
