Someone filed a complaint against me last week for not keeping my promise to update daily, and i swear I had a good mind to do up a proper and long one over the weekend. but unfortunately actions don't speak louder than words whenever i am up to my neck in work, so I decided to continue breaking my promise :/
is a rather exciting day, in a bad way that is. Was working on my assignment on the train when my laptop decided to pop me a surprise by showing me this
crash error report a.k.a blue screen of death X 5 times,

Met up with Daniel after an intensive (i insist hahaha) Matlab discussion session with the girls, and look at what stress can do to people.

Our dinner of sambal sotong, prawn omelette, lor bak and kang kong (discriminated and not in picture haha)

And I shall just briefly blog about things that happened some time ago (in no order)
1) The legendary Aladdin/wei-ge/fibre/ATM/Candee's property turned 23! :)

Once upon a Wednesday, I decided to join the weekly ball games Daniel organised and you all can tell what happened to me for that one and only time I participated in the game! Run after a ball like a hero and tripped over Darren, and the hilarious thing was the fall was in damn slow motion. Tried to break fall but attempt failed miserably. Think I seriously major in clumsiness.
It was NIE's learning festival that day too, and Daniel signed us up for a cooking class and was very excited about it. Turned out to be quite disappointing cause everything was prepared for us already so all we 'learnt' was how to operate an oven, slice the chicken and decorate our bento.
was a fun experience attending a cooking class with Daniel though, and seeing how other people decorate their bento creatively, but that's probably the only takeaway from this class.
3) Flea!
Participated in NTU's flea with the girls a few days into the term and it was mad fun and exciting tugging bags of clothes to school, sticking the price tag on them, laying them out on the booth, do internal shopping with each other's clothes (ok only me, ooops), rushing to the booth between lessons and chionging back to class, receiving sms from XW who was very helpful in manning the booth when we are away, and promoting each other's clothes to the crowd :)
The business women
The number of deadlines I have to meet is actually quite manageable, like 1-2 deadlines per week but it's the nature of these assignments that drives people crazy, like the very one I am working on now- Matlab a.k.a Madlab. Mind-boggling, time-consuming and makes people feel that they are stupid.
2 presentations, 3 quizzes and 1 more essay to go before the final papers a month plus later, and if I am not wrong, the NUS peeps should be taking their papers like soon soon so *waves to Meiqi, Stacia, Kylie & Sherlin*, all the best for your exams! :)
So today...
is a rather exciting day, in a bad way that is. Was working on my assignment on the train when my laptop decided to pop me a surprise by showing me this
with my Matlab assignment, GIS project and geography essay brainstorm unsaved so the gan jiong-ness then was really beyond words. Rushed my laptop to 'A & E' and it was rather unbelievable that the technicians there have no idea how to go about fixing a problem which I thought is rather common and frequently encountered. But anyway my laptop rose from the dead in the end and I managed to back up all my precious documents and that's all that matters! The thought of losing all the work for good is really damn freaky and thank god Serene and Daniel were virtually by my side to assure and distract me :)
The sweet but shy girl (as you can see) who bought something to cheer me up!
is also the violent girl who destroyed something in the lab:
Blackmail-able photo HAHAHA!

1) Makes people want to create a new fashion statement:
2) Makes people look exceptionally good:

1st Nov...
was the day Daniel and I turned a month older and stronger :)
Had dinner at Curry Wok at Bukit Timah. Food's rather good, like the typical tze char dishes but is slightly pricey for the portion and kind of dishes. The drinks are more interesting: grass jelly with lime on the left and grass jelly with milk beside!
Our dinner of sambal sotong, prawn omelette, lor bak and kang kong (discriminated and not in picture haha)Happy counting months together!

4) ECP (II) with family in the hols

More on FB! (after I upload maybe months later hahaha)
5) Anti-fats trio
Picnic-ed, chatted, camwhored, played a cui game of volleyball and couple-cycled. Love such simple and meaningful outings, and blogging about it now is a painful reminder of its non-existence ever since school started and how work has robbed me of quality time like that with family and bf :(
5) Anti-fats trio
A simple affair made wonderful by everyone's presence :)
3.40am now, and not even halfway done with the entry hahaha. Consequence of procrastinating when it comes to blogging. Will update more on my mum's bday, the pork chop lovers and my own soon!
Goodnight!

Mugging in processNothing to update these days, mugging is the most exciting activity everyday now (major no-life statement). Calculus quiz in 4 hours, getting my life back for a night in 5! Have been busy with this horrible module and am extremely thankful to have selfless friends who'll guide me whenever I need help, especially my Maths god aka tong bao aka textbook aka Serene :)
Ok, my notes are dying for my attention now. May the test be friendly and kind, till then!

have been chionging tuition to prepare the kids for their exams, on top of my own pile of work and today is finally the last tuition session! Going to have a short short break from tuition before lessons resume in a week :)
More chionging to come, can't wait for Friday to come.
Happy chionging!

broke

:(
I'm truly upset cause I thought I can keep up with the daily update for at least a week! hahaha. Laziness > determination (proven) plus a double stroke. Ok, the consequence of an overdose of Maths.
So...I lived like a pig yesterday. AED's over = only lesson on Mon over = NO SCH ON MON!! (no, I'm not a bimbo, really) haha. But poor D was down with a high fever so popped over to his place. Z monster aura was damn strong there - the sick boy was sleeping, his grandma was sleeping, nephews were sleeping, and i soon found myself doing the same. Totally slept the whole afternoon away! Sinful but it's been long since I caught up on my sleep so the feeling's quite shiok ooops.
He was actually feeling quite unwell then, but he's alright already, so yay!
♥ ♥ ♥
Then today is the dress-up day for the clique, otherwise we'll just be cladded in our usual professional outfit of shorts and slippers.
Had lectures in avatar language, Dan and I got self-diagnosed food poisoning (hilarious experience of rushing back to school for the toilet!), Leekiang made me feel loved by calling specially to offer a ride back to the East, had tuition, and am going to mug for quiz tomorrow.
See.you.tomorrow.

Welcome to the new space!
Not very sure what to type for my first post, especially when it's done at an unearthly timing of 3.20am when my brain is on standby mode, my eyes are supporting on toothpicks and my heart's yearning for the bed. But am still here completing the post because I promised Ms Foo an entry! :)
Life has been crazy as ever, neither crazily wow nor wild but crazily busy meeting deadlines and mugging for tests. Took some time to read my past entries when Candee asked me to update my blog and realised my entries are getting fewer, shorter and sloppier. I used to blog for keeps and look back on my life journey occasionally. It's kind of sad to see how days passed by so uneventfully on thatperfectdistance now so I've decided to move to a new, clean and fresh space and start documenting my life once again.
Blogging here is a totally different experience, no longer have the luxury of time to do up long fanciful paragraphs decorated with numerous photographs but I promise myself a twitter-blog post daily at least (haha fine, I know nobody will believe this). Will be keeping this space as private as possible so that I can write freely without having to hold back, so friends, don't link up! And a change of 'profile picture' too, bringing in a new character in my life whom I hardly mention in my previous blog.
With that, I end my (luo suo) post (and hit the sack hooray),
Till the next proper update, goodnight folks!
